MY STORY
Hi! If you don't know me yet: nice to meet you, my name is Costanza.
I decided to take this time to tell you my story because I think it can be an inspiration for all those girls who still aren't sure what to do with their lives .
I would like these lines to help you remember that the path traced is not always the right one and that, to reach your dreams, you must ALWAYS have the courage to get involved and chase them!
2020
EXISTENTIAL CRISIS
I was 23 years old and a recent graduate in Tourism Sciences , a faculty that didn't drive me crazy but that I had chosen because "when I grow up I want to be free to travel around the world! ".
It's a shame that after several experiences in the sector I understood that it wasn't at all how I imagined it .
With covid the situation got even worse because I became even more aware that this was not the path I wanted to take at all.
There was only one problem: I had no idea what else I could do .
AUGUST 2021
THE CHANGE
After months of racking my brains because I felt constantly frustrated and dissatisfied with my life , I decided that I wasn’t going to waste another minute of it. And that’s when I thought, “Okay, you don’t know what to do with your life? Well, dedicate it entirely to achieving your biggest dreams , worst case scenario, you’ve spent your time trying.”
It was then that I tried to understand what “being free to travel around the world” really meant to me and that’s when I decided to become a digital nomad .
OCTOBER 2021
MILAN
I moved to Milan to attend a master's degree in Communication and Digital Marketing and decided that this would be my chance to completely reinvent myself : new city, new life, new friends, new Constance.
I spent the whole year working constantly on my personal growth and especially on my skills , because I knew that if I wanted to become a digital nomad I would have to have highly remunerative skills that I could sell to work as a freelancer. And marketing was the best choice .
MARCH 2022
NEW AWARENESS
I bought my first Social Media Marketing course and realized that finally this could be a skill that could completely change my life.
Everyone needs to be on social media these days and selling this service to businesses could be an opportunity to become a freelancer and be free to work wherever you want with just a computer.
MAY 2022
FIRST JOB IN A MARKETING AGENCY
I officially finished my master's degree in Communication and Digital Marketing and started an internship at a marketing agency in Milan. At first I was really excited because I was convinced I could learn a lot of things that could be useful for my project, but it wasn't like that. I spent entire days doing little or nothing and even though I constantly asked how I could be useful, no one took me into consideration.
MAY 2023
I BECOME A FREELANCER
Tired of no one really realizing my potential and the desire I had to do and learn, I decided to drop everything and start working on my own .
I found my first clients and started working as a Social Media Manager . In the meantime I also started to document my journey on social media and slowly I started to create my own community .
MARCH 2024
MY SMM COURSE
In a few months I managed to create the freedom and independence I had always wanted , and since my community was constantly asking me for advice on how to achieve the same lifestyle, I decided to create SOCIAL EMPIRE : my Social Media Marketing course where I teach girls how to create a personal brand on social media from scratch and how to sell this skill to businesses to become their Social Media Manager.
MAY 2024
THE REALIZATION OF A DREAM
I decided it was time to REALLY make my dream come true, so I grabbed my best friend and we went on a 2 month trip to Asia .
We moved between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Maldives, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. It was two intense, wonderful months, full of memories and adventures, where we lived life to the fullest as true digital nomads who alternate experiences in exotic places with online work.
In Thailand, however, a new awareness came to me: this lifestyle is not for me .
JULY 2024
NEW PROJECT
I decided to return to Italy and reflect on my future .
I had dedicated the last 3 years of my life to achieving what I thought was my biggest dream, only to discover that yes, I love to travel, but constantly moving from one country to another is not the kind of life I want to have.
However, this experience made me understand that if I truly believe in myself and my abilities, I am capable of achieving anything .
So I asked myself, “Okay, what’s another big dream I want to fulfill?”
SEPTEMBER 2024
ŚAKTY'S IDEA
So that's how I decided to pursue the dream that I've always been a little afraid to admit to myself because I thought it would be too difficult to achieve: creating my own clothing brand .
A brand with strong values and a very specific mission: to enhance women's bodies to make them always feel elegant, feminine and self-confident every time they wear one of my dresses.
JANUARY 2025
ŚAKTY BECOMES REALITY
After 4 months of hard work, on January 15, 2025 ŚAKTY is officially online with the dress that for me represents most of all what I wanted to convey: the little black dress .
Classic, elegant, feminine. An evergreen that never goes out of style and that every woman should have in her wardrobe.
And I chose the name ŚAKTY in honor of the Indonesian goddess of the same name, which I learned about during my trip to Bali. A goddess who represents the energy and feminine power present within every woman and that I want to bring out with my clothes.
